Two Librarians Finish Graduate Studies

Two Librarians of the Fray Luis de Leon Library obtained their Masters degree from the University of San Carlos. They are Mrs. Shiela Momongan de la Cruz finished her Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MSLIS) with thesis: “Professional Competency Development Program for Reference Librarians in Tertiary Institutions of the Order of Augustinian Recollects (OAR) in the Philippines”. While, Mrs. Maria Kanaway Lao Blanco finished her Master of Library and Information Science(MLIS) – non-thesis program. Her proposal is “The Filipiniana Collection on Culture and the Arts of Fray Luis de Leon Library: a computerized annotated bibliography.” They joined the Commencement Exercises at USC last March 28, 2014.
