School of Law Moot Court, a Reality…

“This is a dream come true in the UNO-R School of Law. It is every law student’s dream to have a moot court in his school.” was the message of Judge Lorna Demonteverde, Asst. Dean of the UNO-R School of Law during the inauguration and blessing of the UNO-R School of Law Moot Court. Demonteverde, in behalf of the faculty and students of the School of Law, thanked the administration of Fr. Emeterio Buñao, OAR for making the dream, a reality. Fr. President shared his dream of having a 100% passing percentage for the Bar exams. He said that this dream shall become a reality if the administration provides the best instruction, faculty and facilities. So, the Moot Court is a manifestation of the administration’s commitment to excellence. The blessing was held Last May 27, 9:30 am. During the program, Judge Lorna P. Demonteverde. Assist. Dean, School of Law gave the welcome address. Rev. Fr. Emeterio D. Buñao, OAR, University President officiated the Blessing and was assisted by University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR. Ms. Manellee Mijares, Barristers’ Club President gave a message in behalf of the Students. Dean John Paolo A. Villasor gave the Closing Remarks. After the blessing of the Moot Court, Fr. Latoza and Fr. President blessed newly renovated office of the School of Law.
