The Samahan ng Kabataan ,together with their adviser, Mr. Lorenzo Magsipe organized a workshop on how to write news held at the High School Activity Cultural Center. Mrs. Maria Alon Song, the adviser of Starlight, the official Publication of High School Department and Mrs. Mari Antonette Del Oeste, head of the Filipino Department, were guest speakers of the said event. About 30 participants attended the workshop.
