Fifteen High schools will see action during the HIP HOP High Dance Competition Season 5 on February 03, 2012 at the university Gymnasium at 4:30 pm. The schools are: Caduha-an National High School (Cadiz); Madeleine Academy (Hinigaran) ; Alangilan National High School; Luis Hervias National High School (Bacolod); Luisa Medel National High School (Bacolod); Our Lady of Purity Academy, Inc. (San Enrique); Emiliano Lizares National High School (Granada) ; Mandalagan National High School (Bacolod); Our Lady of Pillar Academy B.I.(Ma-ao, Bago City) ; Negros Occidental National High School; Mansilingan Agro Industrial High School; Bata National High School; Valladolid National High School; Pax Catholic Academy (La Carlota City); and Sum-ag National High School.
The Season 5 Hip Hop High Executive Committee Coordinator is Fr. Dexter Palagtiosa,OAR while over-all chair is Mrs. Joselina Basa, MAEd.
Hip Hop High was conceptualized by Rev. Fr. Antonio Limchaypo,OAR and Ms. Agnes Lira – Jundos in 2007 giving avenue to High school students to showcase their talents through hip hop dance.

Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Cornelio E. Moral, OAR, UNO-R Vice president for Religious affairs and Director of Religious Education, left for Colombia via the United States of America last January 24, 2012 to attend the international meeting of the Commission on the Revitalization and Restructuring of the Order of Augustinian Recollects. The meeting was held at El Desierto de la Candelaria from January 27 to 31 and was presided by Most Rev. Fr. Miguel Miro, OAR, Prior General of the Order. It was the second meeting of the Commission. Fr. Moral had also attended the first meeting last June in Rome. After the meeting, participants will visit the different communities of the Recollect Province of Our Lady of Candelaria. Fr. Moral will be back on February 16, 2012.
