The UNO-R’s grade school department held their Literary Musical Competition September 12 at the University Auditorium. The competition started at 8 am, which was composed of two parts – the pre-elementary literary musical competition and the elementary literary musical contests. Tula, Vocal Solo, Lip Synch, Creative native dance and pop dance competition were the contests in part one. While Elocution, Vocal Solo, Lip Synch, Pop Dance, Extemporaneous Speaking, Declamation English and Filipino were for the second part. Mrs. Marisa Petalla, Grade 5 adviser, said that the litmus competition aims to develop the talents of the pupils as well as the academics through extracurricular activities.
