Elementary girls Carmen Jesusa Legaspi (Grade IV – Ruby), Aira Camille dela Banda (Grade V – Aquarius), and Christine Joy Suarez (Grade VI – Aries) emerged as champions in the Spelling Bee sponsored by the Elementary Department and the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) held last February 21, 2009 at Robinson’s Place, Bacolod City.

At the program, the Elementary Glee Club led the crowd for the Invocation and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. PTA President, Mrs. Ma. Judy Legaspi, gave the Welcome Remarks while Fr. Antonio Limchaypo, OAR, Vice President for External Affairs, inspired the contestants with his message. Pronouncers were Mrs. Marcela Yap for Grade IV, Mrs. Ma. Judy Legaspi for Grade V, and Mrs. Chona Mascuñana for Grade VI. Mr. Nestor Garcia, Elementary Principal, delivered the Closing Remarks while awarding of winners was done by Fr. Sixto Bitangjol, OAR, University President and Fr. Antonio Limchaypo, OAR.
