The Parents and Teachers Association of the Elementary Department sponsored the “Spelling Bee” (Final Round) last February 21, 2009 at the Fountain Area of Robinson’s Place, Bacolod City. The PTA Spelling Bee aims to give the opportunity for linguistically gifted pupils from Grades IV, V, and VI to display their verbal skills before a different crowd.

At the program, the Elementary Glee Club gave the Invocation and led in the singing of the Philippine National Anthem while PTA President, Mrs. Ma. Judy Legaspi, delivered the Welcome Address. Vice President for External Affairs, Fr. Antonio S. Limchaypo, OAR, graced the occasion with his Words of Inspiration. Mechanics of the contest were read and pronouncers were introduced before the contest proper started. Mr. Nestor Garcia, Grade School Principal, gave the Closing Remarks. Winners in the contest received cash prizes from different sponsors.
