The UNO-Recoletos Grade School has a new principal. Mr. Nestor Garcia was appointed by the UNO-R School Board as the new principal replacing Mrs. Marcela D. Yap, who retired this year.
| The new Principal finished his basic education from Educational and Training Center School (ETCS) in 1966.
His secondary education was obtained from Negros Occidental High School in 1970.He obtained his Degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from UNO-Recoletos in 1976. | |

He now holds a Postgraduate degree in Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Philippine Women’s University in Manila in 1986.
He has been with the University since 1976 as full-time classroom teacher. He is also the coach of the Elementary boys and girls chess team of UNO-Recoletos. | |
