Engineering 5th year students learn proper cable application and ROHS

Thirty – five Electrical, Electronics and Communications and Computer Engineering students learned proper cable application and on restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances (ROHS) compliance from Engr. Arnold Kwan, ECE assisted by Engr. Christopher Alunan, PECE.

Engr. Kwan presented the topic about “Specifying the right cable for your application”. He noted that having the right specification for the use of cable avoids the occurrence of several misfortunes in your work.

He also introduced ROHS Compliance which aims to restrict certain dangerous substances commonly used in electronic and electronic equipment.
