The College of Education, in its quest for academic excellence to better prepare its graduates for the field, conducted a curriculum review to revisit its existing curricula to determine whether these are responsive to the current demands. Alumni representatives from different programs, cooperating school administrators, and students were invited to discuss the concerns such as the sequencing of courses/subjects, feedback and suggestions of cooperating institutions on their practicum program, and updates on current trends pertaining to teaching-learning activities with the COED faculty in a stakeholders’ conference last April 26, 2023, at the Presidents’ Hall.
Present during the conference were BCNHS principal Dr. Richard M. Gelangre, together with their department heads Ms. Ma. Gloria G. Sunod (English), Mr. Jimmy P. Dewara (Math), Ms. Jelly C. Perez (MAPEH), and Ms. Ma. Victoria L. Solitano (Filipino). Also present were Rizal Elementary School principal Mr. Pedro G. Crispe, Jr., and cooperating Teacher Ms. Nenitte T. Ferrer. UNO-R principals Ms. Venus R. Blancia (N-10) and Mr. Harry S. MAgluyan (SHS), together with their academic coordinators Mrs. Mary Jane M. Concel (N-6), Mrs. Marie Antonette Del Oeste (7-10), and Ms. Joy Q. Borcelas (SHS) also attended the conference.
