In line with the College Sportsfest 2023, the students of Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNED) of the College of Education, specifically their SPAMUS130 (Adapted Physical Education and Recreation, Music, and Health) class mentored by Mr. Rhey Mark Presquito, held a “paramazing,” a sports competition for children with special needs last April 20, 2023, at the UNO-R field.
Special students from Bacolod City National High School, Bacolod SPED Center, and Handumanan Elementary School 1 were invited to participate in various Paralympic games, namely bocce, goal ball, and athletics (100m, 400m, & 4x100m relay). The activity started with the opening formalities at the Fr. Cuenca Hall. Mr.Rhey Mark Presquito gave the welcome remarks. Mr. Nikko Paolo R. Calumpiano (BEEd Program Head), Dean Ma. Theresa H.
