COED CONDUCTS INITIAL TUTORIAL SESSIONS IN BARANGAY GRANADA

After successfully going through the process of community profiling, feedbacking, and MOA signing, the College of Education has done its initial outreach activity in its adopted community last May 21, 2022. The activity was spearheaded by Ms. Cecille Pacis, COEd outreach coordinator. She was assisted by Sir Nikko Calumpiano. Sixteen student volunteers conducted tutorial sessions for 62 recipients in Purok Alunan in Barangay Granada. The children were a mix of pupils/students from primary, intermediate, and high school levels. The program aims to assist students of different grade levels in their current lessons. Each student volunteer was assigned to deliver a topic to them.  The College of Education will have this sustainable outreach activity twice a month until AY 2025. Student volunteers for this outreach will teach different topics in line with their area of specialization. Every outreach activity will be facilitated by Education teachers with the assistance of the purok secretary and the support of the Brgy. Captain. (Cecille Marie G. Pacis)
