The College of Education faculty together with the CoEd Student Council donated food packs to thirty (30) families in Sipalay City last December 21, 2021. Recipients were the families severely affected by typhoon Odette. The food packs included bottled water, canned goods, noodles, biscuits, and coffee sachets. ( news from COED).
The Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE National) donated P5,000.00 for the victims of Typhoon Odette in Bindoy, Negros Oriental. The said amount was sent by PAFTE Region VI President Dr. Helen Gasapo to CoEd Dean Dr. Ma. Theresa H. Chavez (PAFTE VI Board Member) who turned over the same to the University Community Development Office (UCDO) represented by Mr. Elmeer Meeynard Calimpos last January 19, 2022. The cash donation was added to the UCDO funds used to purchase rice and other goods that were distributed to recipients on January 28, 2022. (news from COEd)
