An Orientation Seminar on Issues and Concerns about the K to 12 Curriculum will be conducted by Director Mildred Garay of DEPEd Region VI on March 09 at the President’s Hall. The Program will start at 8 in the morning . This is a program of the Office of the Vice President for Academics in preparation of the K to 12 total implementation come 2016.
In a related news, Atty. Arleen Medina and Dr. Carlos Legaspi, Jr. joined the Education Tripartite Forum on K to 12 (Visayas –wide) held at Sarrosa International Hotel and Residential Suites, Cebu City last February 27. Discussed were K to 12 program, responses of the tertiary level to K to 12, and proposals of the labor sector on the effects and impact of K to 12. The forum was organized by the Department of Labor and Employment – Cebu.
