The College of Engineering held its search for Mr. Gwapo 2012 last August 7 at the university gymnasium. The contest was brought back after two years because of the urge of the students. It was also the highlight of the COE Days. The representative from the Electrical Engineering, Christian Surban, was awarded as the Best Speaker, and was hailed as Mr. Gwapo 2012. Mr. Gwapo Best in Talent was Israel Trimucha from the Freshmen Engineering, also the1st runner-up . Mr. Gwapo-Photogenic, Rich Florendo from the Civil Engineering was the 2nd runner-up.
