2 CCJE FACULTY RECEIVE RESEARCH GRANT FROM RDO

Two (2) faculty members of the College of Criminal Justice Education, Dr. Jean Pauyon and Mr. Edwin Moradilla signed their contract for an Institutional Research Grant last April 29, 2022, with Ms. Kaye Eunice Lamera, Research and Development Office Representative. They received a cash grant for their research. Their research is entitled “Forensic Document Examination Procedures between Electronically Captured Signatures and Conventional Signature: Its Efficacy and Reliability in Judicial Administration.” Full-time faculty members must engage in research each year to give the chance for them to participate and unleash their skills in doing research.

CCJE CONDUCTS OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

The College of Criminal Justice Education, spearheaded by the Justice Education Student Councils, conducted an outreach activity at Holy Family Home Bacolod Foundation, Inc., which is managed and operated by the Capuchin nuns. They donated hygiene and food packs for the girls. This activity has been made possible thru the donation campaign made by the JESC from their fellow Criminology students. To make this activity possible, Dr. Gladys Estrellanes, College UCDO Coordinator, supervised the students’ councils and ensured that they always considered the safety of the students.
