By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 237 signed in 1998 by then President Corazon C. Aquino, the month of June is declared as the Philippine Environment Month.
UNOR NSTP and CCJE joined the “Adopt-an-Estero Waterbody Program” last June 21, 2014 at Mambuloc, Bacolod City. The activity was in line with DENR’s celebration of the 2014 Environment Month with the theme: “Raise your Voice not the Sea Level”. Along with other Non- Government Organizations, the activity lasted for 4 hours, which reflected environmental consciousness, unity and community involvement in maintaining a balanced ecosystem.
