Last Wednesday, January 15, 2014, the College of Criminal Justice Education conducted its students’ 2nd General Assembly for this School Year 2013-2014 with a theme, “The Change in Progress” at the University Auditorium. The program includes the welcome address of the College Dean Dr. Jasmin Parreño, Governor’s Report and Financial Report of JESC Governor Brichel Mae Lumawod, followed by Awarding of Outstanding and Most Participative Students for First Semester of AY 2013-2014 and presentations of JESC Resolutions and 2nd Semester Programs. Mrs. Jean B. Pauyon, M.S. Crim., JESC Adviser ended the program by giving her closing remarks. Faculty Members namely: PSupt. Virgilio Oebanda (Ret.), PSInsp Homer Vargas (Ret.), and Ms. Gladys Estrellanes were present. Ms. Loriejen Fidelson, the new faculty member acted as master of ceremonies. Further, on the same date, the UNO-Recoletos Debate Society sponsored the Atubangay Reckoleto Debate held at the President’s Hall, which the College through its’ Debating Team headed by Team Captain Ma. Tiffany Cabigon, Members: Mark Ayala, Irish Joycel Flores and Researchers: Stephen John Dela Cruz and Jeddan Bryl Esleyer, won against the debating team of the College of Business and Accoutancy and this qualify the team to the next level. The team were coached by Ms. Caryl Vina Jabasa, M.S. Crim. and Mr. Ferdinand Emmanuel Gayoles, MA. Ed. Kudos CCJE!
