CCJE HOLD RECOGNITION OF ACADEMIC AWARDEES AND PARENTS’ ASSEMBLY

The College of Criminal Justice Education conducted an awarding ceremony for academic achievers last Saturday, July 3 at the University Auditorium. Dean Jasmin Parreño welcomed everyone and Fr. Jorge Peligro, OAR gave a very empowering inspirational message on the said activity. Dr. Parreño presented the certificates to the recipients assisted by year level advisers namely, Mrs. Gladys Estrellanes, Mrs. Jean Pauyon, PSInsp Homer Vargas and Ms. Caryl Vina Jabasa. Out of 34, there were two gold awardees, 11 for silver, and 21 for bronze. The main objective of the activity was to give credit and recognition to outstanding students last 2nd semester of academic year 2012-2013 thus, encouraging others to strive hard to attain academic excellence for the forthcoming Academic Years. After the awarding ceremony, Dr. Parreño had the time to dialogue with the parents pertaining to the college activities and updates such as policies, guidelines and on the commendable achievements of the CCJE Parents- Teachers Association (PTA) being contributed to the college. The CCJE PTA still have the same set of officers for academic year 2012-2013. The program as facilitated by the CCJE PTA Advisers (Mrs. Pauyon, Mrs. Estrellanes, and Ms. Jabasa). The above programs were successfully attained as part of the yearly Academic Calendar of activities in coordination with the College of Criminal Justice Education Student Council.
