The Elementary Department held the Living Rosary and Angels’ Day last Friday, October 3, at the University gym. This activity aimed to instill in the minds and hearts of the pupils the love for Mother Mary and the awareness of the existence of the guardian angels that are sent by heaven to guide God’s most beautiful creation – the man.
As early as July, Grades IV, V, and VI pupils were assigned wards from Grades I, II and III with whom they developed friendship through simple conversations. During the Angels’ Day, the pupils were excited to give each other homemade angel’s cards and enjoyed the whole day in each other’s company.
The activity started with a Mass in the morning. Living Rosary followed. Then the pupils had their angels’ games and contests like “Dress up an Angel Doll”, “Angel Dance Contest” and “Dress up an Angel”.
