UNO-R HONORS MOISES PADILLA TOWN

The Administration of the Unviersity of Negros Occidental-Recoletos honored the municipality of Moises Padilla for producing two achievers this academic year. The university administration, represented by Rev. Fr. Louie F. Gabinete, OAR, gave a plaque of recognition to the town, represented by Mayor Francisco M. Nazareno last February 11, 2013. The two UNO-Rians and pride of Moises Padilla are Ms. Louise Valerie Abaño and Ms. Daisy May Nonato. In a program sponsored by the municipality, the university delegation was welcomed by the Honorable SB Member Jose Edmund Odencio. Fr. Louie Gabinete read the letter of the Father President, Rev. Fr. Emeterio Buñao, OAR. Both awardees shared their experiences and thanked the municipality and their school – Moises Padilla Elementary School for honing them to what they are today. SB Ariel Estos closed the program after the responses from Mayor Nazareno and DEPED District Supervisor Enedina Madrileño. The Honorable Mayor thanked the university administration for the honor it gave to the municipality and told everyone to be inspired by what these two had brought the Municipality.
