The Western Visayas Agriculture Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESVARRDEC) held its 22nd Regional Symposium on Research and Development Highlights (RSRDH) last October 8, 2012 at Capiz State University, Roxas City. 19 participants from different State Universities in Region 6 presented their papers on Biological, Agriculture researches. The team from UNO-R, Bacolod composed of Christian Acaba, Andy Montaño, Sande Cañete, Ronnie Gicana and Ma. Corazon Acaba won the 2nd place in the Best Research on New Knowledge and Innovation Category. Their paper is entitled: Breed Method Used in Somatic Cell Count as Quality Index of Locally produced Milk. Mr. Ronnie Gicana from the College of Arts and Sciences was the one who presented the paper during the symposium.
