Ms. Diwani Duropan, Guidance Counselor of the College of Arts and Sciences passed the recently taken Licensure Examination for Guidance Counselors held last Aug. 29-30 at Manuel L. Quezon University, Manila. RA 9258 requires all counselors to be licensed.
“It was something that we’re expected to have to legalize our practice and it is a total fulfillment of a counselor to have the license”, Ms. Duropan said. Out of 336 examinees, Ms. Duropan was among the 186 passers. She was also an alumna of BS Psychology here in UNO-R, batch 2000.
