Two batch 2011 graduates successfully passed the Agriculture Licensure Examinations given last July 19-21, 2011. They are Ariel D. Miranda and Andy S. Montaño. Three others came from earlier batchers. They are Ivy Francisco Italia; Nilo Basco,Jr. and Princess Y Gegantoca.
UNO-R is the only University in the Province that offers agriculture degree program with a farm within the campus. The university has a mini-forest, mini-farm, organic crop plantations and experimental plots for students to apply the theories learned in the classroom. It has also a collection of poultry and livestock for study. The School is under the supervision of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Last year, the college also offered a 2-year pre-Veterinary Medicine. This is a program that would prepare students for Veterinary Medicine proper. This program is offered in cooperation with Office of the Provincial Veterinarian and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.
