The Blue and Gold Alumni Association, Inc. recently donated one hundred thirty-six thousand pesos to the UNO-R administration for the purchase of chairs for the President’s Corporate Hall.
Meanwhile, the BGGAI Board has elected its new set of officers for 2007-2008. Atty. Mateo Valenzuela was elected President. The other officers are: Magdalena Clauor – Vice President; Jose Montalbo – Treasurer; Jovi Linga – Assistant Treasurer; Lourdes Mirasol – Secretary; Carlos Legaspi, Jr. – PIO; Romeo Aceron – Auditor; Procopio Tanalgo – Business Manager; Shirley Ledesma – Ways and Means; Luis Antonio Valderama – Historical Officer and Annie Marie Bachinela – Protocol Officer.
This is the third joint venture of the UNO-R BGAAI with the administration of Fr. Demetrio Peñascoza, OAR. The first were the steel benches at the UNO-R Park and the second was the tiling of the ground floor of the St. Augustine Building (Administration Building).
Mrs. Julieta Hinolan turns over the donation amounting to Php136, 000 to Fr. Demetrio Peñascoza, OAR for the chairs in the President's Corporate Hall.
Fr. President turns over the money to Bro. Jaazeal D. Jakosalem, OAR, UNO-R Property Administrator.
