The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recognized The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Inc. as outstanding Technical Vocational Institution at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City, August 30.
TESDA Region VI’s exemplary partners during their 30th anniversary themed “Continuing the Legacy of Empowering Filipinos, Elevating Global Competence . The event gather all participants and guests who actively support and play a significant role in the implementation of quality TVET in the region.

Dr. Samilano is also the President of the Association of Technical Institute of Negros Occidental (ATINO) who is working under the umbrella of TESDA.
