CHRISTMAS@UNO-R OPENS

Last December 5, 2022, Christmas opened at UNO-R with the lighting of the Christmas trees and lights. A short program was held at the Main Lobby to usher in the coming Christmas season at UNO-R, tagged as “Together@Christmas”. The program opened with Fray Samuel Eyas, OAR, leading the community prayer and Fray Jose Alden Alipin, OAR leading the Christmas Creed. Advent and Christmas messages were shared by Fray Joel Alve, OAR; UNOFELA President Engr. Noel Angeles; and UNORSSGO President Melrose Seron. Fr. President, in his message, reminded everyone of the essence of the celebration and the theme of the celebration, which is calling for everyone to journey with each other. He also reminded us we are still in the Season of Advent, so we must continue to prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus on Christmas day.

Meanwhile Engr. Angeles thanked the Lord for the year’s blessings and reminded everyone of the essence of the celebration, which is the birth of Jesus. After the program, the Religious and Lay Administrators with Engr. Angeles led the community in the lights-on ceremony. Adrian Kent Satam, Sheera Pullona and Stephanie Garcia rendered intermission numbers.
