Dr. Jasmin L. Parreño, Dean of the UNO-R College of Criminal Justice Education, was elected as Secretary of Western Visayas Criminal Justice Education Council of Deans, Inc. (WVCJECODE). A virtual induction of officers was held last March 10, 2020. The guest of honor and speaker and the inducting officer was Dr. Raul C. Alvarez, Jr., the Regional Director for CHEDRO 6. Dr. Arnold John P. Anceno, the Education Supervisor for Criminology Program, also gave his message. Further, Dr. Alvarez encouraged the Deans to have their practicum face-to-face to expose the students in the field and gain experiences even in a short period only without sacrificing the IATF protocol.
