The Father President issued Memo 015 s. 2021-2022 entitled Administrative Concerns and Updates last October 25, 2021.
I. On Vaccination Program
In partnership with the LGU-Bacolod, another round of vaccination will be held on October 26, 2021, starting at 1 pm in rooms SA 101 and 102. The following shall be qualified for this vaccination program: 2nd dose of Pfizer (those who have been inoculated last October 2021 at UNO-R) and 1st dose of Pfizer vaccines for more UNO-R employees and their family and household members.
LGU-Bacolod is still giving priority to UNO-R students, faculty, employees, and their family and household members at the vaccination center at Ayala Malls, Capitol Road, Bacolod City. Just present your UNO-R ID to be accommodated.
2. On REAP-ARIFP ARSE
All lay collaborators (administrators, faculty, and non-teaching staff) are enjoined to attend the REAP-ARIFP Augustinian Recollect Spiritual Exercises (ARSE) on October 27 (Wednesday) from 12:30 – 4 PM. Via zoom. Classes and office operations are suspended during the ARSE (12:30 – 4 PM only) to allow everyone to join the community.
Faculty members are advised to give asynchronous activities to their students.
3. On the Culmination of the Holy Rosary Month
The Culmination of the Month of the Holy Rosary shall be on October 29, 2021. There will be a Community Rosary at 9:30 am and Holy Mass at 10 am at the Oratory of the St. Nicholas of Tolentine. Adhering to the IATF protocols only Religions and Lay Administrators, sponsors, 2 representatives from each office, and assisting staff are expected to join this religious activity.
Only office operations shall be suspended from 9:30 to 12:00 noon to allow personnel to follow the Holy Rosary and Mass which will be aired live via Heart Media Production, Campus Ministry office and University of Negros Occidental -Recoletos facebook pages. Office operations resume at 1 PM.
4. On All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days
November 1, 2021, ALL SAINTS’ Day is a NON-WORKING HOLIDAY.
November 2, 2021, ALL SOULS’ Day is a REGULAR WORKING HOLIDAY.
This was declared by President Duterte in Presidential Proclamation no. 1107 s. 2021. At UNO-R, This will be a working day for all offices and maintenance personnel. This will be a class day for the Integrated School.
However, this will be a non-class day for the tertiary level because it falls within the phase break (Nov. 1, 2 and 5).
5. On Negros’ Day
November 5, 2021 is a SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY in Negros Occidental pursuant to RA 6709 of February 10, 1989. hence, this will be a NON-WORKING Day and NO CLASS Day at UNO-R.
