UNO-R SUBJECTS ITSELF TO INSTITUTIONAL MANAGEMENT AUDIT

The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos is subjecting itself to a 21-day Management Audit with Dr. Genaro V. Japos. Last February 3, 2020, Dr. Japos met with the School Board at the President’s Conference Room and later met with the Religious and Lay Administrators at the Presidents’ Hall. He explained to the assembly that there are things which are mandatory that the university must comply with and these are the CHED Program Standards and Guidelines (PSG) and the Manual of Regulations for Private Higher Education (MORPHE); the Labor Code of the Philippines; Accreditations (program and institutional); and curricular programs (COE and COD) and the Recognition as Autonomous or Deregulated. He also told the body that he will visit the offices and have joint meetings to commonly see and evaluate the practices of the particular cluster or offices. Dr. Japos holds 5 Doctoral degrees in Organizational Development and Transformation, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Instructional System and Resource Management, and Educational Planning. He was a National Assessor of CHED for IQUAME project, which is now the Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA). He has consulting experiences in the Philippines and abroad.
