UNO-R CONDUCTS TFI CONSULTATIONS

The university as required by the Legal Education Board (LEB) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) held consultations on the Tuition Fee Increase for the Academic year 2020-2021 last February 18, 2020. The administration led by Fray William Villaflor, OAR met with the faculty and students of the School of Law and proposed the increase. The students and the faculty had no opposition with the proposed increase in the School of Law. Improvements for the School of Law facilities and study area were proposed. On the other hand, in the afternoon, the Pamilya Rekoleto (Grade 7-10) led by its President, Mrs. Hearty Tyson ; PamRek (Grades 11 & 12) led by its President, Mrs. Maria Gearla G. Manderico and the UNO-R Grade School PTA (N-6) led by its president, Mrs. Aileen Michelle Lanaza were consulted on the proposed tuition fee. The administration was led by Fray Persiuz Decena, OAR, and Fr. Villaflor. The consultation concluded as they agreed on the proposed increase for the next school year. Mrs. Ma. Luisa Catague presented the rationale and the schedule of fees for both consultations that day.

For the tertiary level, the consultation was done on February 26, 2020, at 10 am at the President’s Hall. The administration was led by Fr. Villaflor and the UNORSSGO officers were led by the president Mr. Levy Tulmo. The consultation went smoothly as Fr. Villaflor highlighted the benefits that the student body could get from this year’ s tuition and miscellaneous fee increase would include: improvement of the learning environment, Excellence in Curriculum, Management Information System, and competent faculty members.
