First Quarter Meeting of the Officers and Trustees of the Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS) on 9 January 2020 held at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, with special visitors composed of the Mayor of Bacolod City, the Hon. Evelio “Bing” R. Leonardia (UNO-R Law ‘79), Bacolod City Legal Officer Joselito T. Bayatan (UNO-R Law ‘90) and Provincial Agriculturist Japhet T. Masculino (UNO-R Law 2001). Present during the meeting were: Dean Marisol DL. Anenias,(Unibersidad De Manila) – PALS President; Dean John Paolo Roberto A. Villasor (UNO-Recoletos) – Executive Vice President; Dean Geny Lito L. Festin (Polytechnic University of the Philippines) – Secretary General; Dean Anna Maria D. Abad (Adamson University) – Deputy Secretary General; Dean Manuel P. Quibod (Ateneo de Davao University) – Treasurer; Dean Hernando S. Perez, Jr. (University of Batangas) – Vice President for Luzon; Dean Zacarias D. Bedona, Jr. (CPU) – Vice President for Visayas; and Dean Alizedney Ditucalan (Mindanao State University)- Vice President for Mindanao. Dean Joan S. Largo (USC) – Chairperson of the Board of Trustees; Dean Lilybeth T. Sindayen –Libiran (St. Louis University) and Dean Domnina T. Rances (Ateneo de Naga University)– Trustees for Luzon; Dean Evergisto S. Escalon (Western Leyte College of Ormoc City)- Trstee for Visayas; Dean Ramon Edison Batacan (Rizal Memorial Colleges) – Trustee for Mindanao. Also present in the meeting were the Trustees at large Dean Soledad Deriquito –Mawis (Lyceum of the Philippines) and Dean Emerito I. Enginco (De La Salle University, Lipa); Atty. Janice Kristine R. Ramos – Executive Director. Dean Rosanne Julianna R.Gonzaga of the USLS School of Law also attended the meeting.
