UNORIANS PASS TESDA NATIONAL COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

Two (2) engineering professors of University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos (UNO-R) passed the National Competency Assessment in Technical Drafting NC II on November 23, 2019 held at Basak Campus, University of San Jose- Recoletos (USJR). The passers are currently professors under the College of Engineering namely Engr. Mark Edwin D. Jereza and Engr. Rose Jean A. Rosco. This activity was spearheaded by the Recoletos Educational Apostolate in the Philippines (REAP) through the chairman of LAMP Decisions No. 37, Rev. Fr. Joel A. Alve in coordination with USJ-R Recoletos Industrial and Technological Training Center (RITTC) director, Dr. Mary Ann G. Roble. The assessment is FREE for takers who are currently employed under the Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW) Systems of TESDA. Moreover, among the participating recollect schools were Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino- Recoletos (CSNT- R), San Pedro Academy- Recoletos (SPAR), and San Pedro Academy (SPA), Colegio de Sto. Tomas- Recoletos (CST- R), and University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos (UNO-R). Lastly, the UNO-R Special Technological and Educational Programs (STEP) Office through its RITTC continues to provide free TVET training and assessment to both professionals and non- professionals.
