4 UNO-RIANS PASSED THE TM LEVEL I NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF TESDA

Three (3) faculty and one (1) alumna of the University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos (UNO-R) passed the Trainers Methodology (TM) Level I national competency assessment of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), held on November 17, 2018 and November 24, 2018, at Regional Training Center (RTC), Talisay City. The following passers who are now competent in Trainers Methodology Level I qualification are Mrs. Russell B. Buslay (Bread and Pastry Production NC II), Mrs. Marie Antonette L. Del Oeste, (Bread and Pastry Production NC II), Dr. Nena P. Samillano (Bread and Pastry Production NC II), and Ms. Eldine Jean E. Koch (Housekeeping NC II). The aforementioned passers underwent assessment which involved written, oral questioning and demonstration on the TM Level I core competencies such as planning training sessions, facilitating learning sessions, supervising work-based learning, conducting competency assessment, maintaining training facilities and utilizing electronic media in facilitating training. Hence, they are now competent to be a Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Trainer, Technical Trainer, Training Facilitator, Coordinator, and Competency Assessor. Furthermore, with the implementation of the K-12 TEC-VOC tracks Program and TVET programs of UNO-R Recoletos Industrial and Technological Training Center (RITTC), teachers who wish to apply for a teaching slot shall be asked to submit requirements based on the standards provided by TESDA.
