The Negros Occidental High School Immersion with UNO-R culminated last January 24, 2018. The 173 SHS immersion students were distributed to the different departments of the university. The culimination program was spearheaded by the office of External Affairs. An Opening message was given by Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr., PhD. Ms. Jo Jean S. Bitar (HUMSS); Christine Joy Pacurib (ABM); Lismar Pigao, Jr. (STEM) and Bilal Enriquez shared their experiences and learnings at UNO-R. This was followed by a video presentation and the messages from the UNO-R Coordinators, Dr. Ma. Theresa Chavez and Engr. Bevlyn Grace Alson. Certificates of Appreciation were given to all the faculty members involved in the immersion of NOHS students. Dean Annabee Magbanua-Claur gave the closing remarks. Also present during the ceremony were Dean Sheila Arnibal,PhD; Jean Pauyon, PhD; Ms. Laarni Muzones, MAEd; and Miss Ma. Emily Azucena, CPA.
