UNO-R CELEBRATES “DAY OF THE ORDER”

The University celebrated the 428th day of the Order last Dec. 5, 2016. The day started with the Vocation Talk at the auditorium at 7:30 am. It was attended by Religious Education students. It was followed by a concelebrated Thanksgiving Mass led by Bacolod Bishop Patricio Buzon, SDB, DD. The Bishop reminded everyone to be in communion with God. It is through loving and sharing to one another that makes Christmas a memorable event. The Bishop also asked everyone to be in contemplation with the Blessed Trinity. He encouraged everyone to see the Triune God in each one. The OAR community with the OAR contemplative nuns had the renewal of vows before Recoletos de Bacolod House Prior, Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR. The Secular Augustinian Recollect Fraternity also recited their vows before Fr. Prior and the Bishop. An agape was prepared by the administration for the faculty, staff, and students. At 2:30 pm, a Book Launching program at the Main Lobby was held. Prof. Romanillos and Dr. Dennis Madrigal, authors of the book about Padre Mauricio Ferrero, discussed the content of the book in the presence of the students, the Fr. President, the Fr.
