FACULTY CO-AUTHORS WITH OAR HISTORIAN

Dr. Dennis Madrigal of the Religious Education Department and Church historian Prof. Emmanuel Luis Romanillos launched their book entitled “Padre Mauricio Ferrero Centennial in commemoration of the 100th Death Anniversary of the Recollect Builder of Bacolod (1915 – 2016)”, last December 5, 2016. The launching program was held at the university lobby at 2 pm. Welcome Remarks were given by Rev. Fr. Abraham latoza, OAR, VP-Religious Affairs and Chair of the Padre Mauricio Ferrero Centennial Committee while Rev. Fr. President gave the inspirational message. He shared that the role of the historian/ chronicler is very important for the present and future generations. We owe the data we have now from their recordings. Dr. Madrigal and Prof. Romanillos shared the highlights of their work to the audience. The program ended with the book signing by the authors. The program emcee was Mrs. Ivy Aboy, MAED.
