The Religious Education Department celebrated the 3rd Catholic Faith Festival with the theme, “Enhancing UNO-R Catholic Culture in celebration of Padre Mauricio Ferrero Centennial and Year of the Eucharist and Family”, September 23-24, 2016. The affair was graced by Bishop Patricio Buzon, SDB, DD and Bishop Emeritus Vicente Navarra, DD.
In the “On-the-spot essay writing contest (English), the 1st prize winner is Jane Villanueva; Marielle Makilan and Kriha Marie Samillano won 2nd and 3rd respectively. Aleah Angeli Glenn de Leon won the Filipino category of the on-the-spot essay writing contest with Bless Ann Tio and Jeremae Montalban in 2nd and 3rd. on the Poster-making contest, the tandem of Winsli Lourd Sumbillo and Adrianne Salugsugan won first place and was followed by Bethel Anas and Windsor Sumbillo in 2nd and Ralph Magon and Evon Claire Lopez in third place.
There were 135 faithful who received the sacrament of Confirmation under Bishop Buzon last September 24, 2016.
