UNO-R BET TAEKWONDO BLACK BELTER

DESSA JANE DANGALLO, 18, admits she had always struggled with weight problems even as a child. At age six, she had a weight that gave her a waistline of 26 inches. “To combat this, my parents Anna Juline and June enrolled me in taekwondo summer classes which began my love for sports, “ said. Dessa, who is representing the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos in this year’s Masskara Queen. She took home more sports awards until she became a junior black belter. Dessa is currently taking BS Pharmacy to fulfill her dreams of becoming a doctor someday. The Masskara Queen 2016 will be crowned at the SMX Convention Center, 4 pm on October 15.
