The Department of Education – Negros Island Region Office visited the university for a tie-up for the training of public school teachers for grade 11. Assistant Regional Director Dr. Salustiano T. Jimenez, together with Dr. Nonale Q Resoor, NIR Curriculum and Learning Management Divison, and Dr. Anna Lee Amores, NIR, FTD/SHS Coordinator met with Mrs. Wilma Maravilla and Mrs. Alon Song to discuss the tie-up between UNO-R and DEPED as to training of teachers for Grade 11 last April 26. UNO-R has been chosen by DEPED national office as Trainign hub for Grade 11 teachers.
Another group came last May 5 to discuss the plan. They were Dr. Resoor; Dr. Carl Credo; Mrs. Jocely E. Luba and Mrs. Rosemarie A. Vailoces. They discussed matters with Dr. Reymund Sabay, UNO-R Focal person for Senior High School.
