The Working Students/Students Assistants Program/Recoletos Educational Assistance for Deserving Students (WS/SAP/READS) alumni held its grand alumni homecoming last Sunday, May 01, 2016 at the main Lobby. It started with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 8 am and was followed by a fellowship program at the main lobby. The morning program started with talks from the Father President; Rev. Fr. Ronel Gealon, OAR of the READS Development Program; Dr. Angelus Diamante of the Blue and Gold Alumni Association; Dr. Carlos Legaspi of the External Office; SAP alumni Manuel Bayle (WS 1985) and Ariel “Budoy” Miranda (READS 2011). Nominations for READS Alumni Association officers followed the opening formalities. After lunch, Ms. Nilda “Nang Nilds” Jamili, former SAP Coordinator and now Associate HRMDO, shared her wonderful experiences with the READS alumni. Election followed.
Dean Elmer Haro was elected as President of the Alumni Association, the other officers are: Mrs. Leah Garbanzos – Vice President; Mrs. Catherine Sebastian – Secretary; Mrs. Judy Mendoza – Treasurer; Mr. Ruby Ravelista – Auditor; Mrs. Gliceria Gilbuena –Bus.
