Dr. Jasmin Parreño, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education was named as the PCAP 1st Regional Director for NIR (Negros Island Region) last January 29-31, 2016 during the 25th PCAP National Convention held at Bayview Park Hotel, Manila. The annual convention was attended by criminologists all over the country. Another feather was added on her cap when she was bestowed the PCAP Service Award for 2016, an honor that she also received last year. Together with the dean are Ms. Caryl Vina Jabasa and Ms. Jean Pauyon, faculty members of the College of Criminal Justice Education. During the said convention, Dean Parreño and Dr. Jean B. Pauyon presented their researches. Dr. Pauyon’s research is entitled “ The Efficacy of Photo Enlargement of Commercial Macro lens and an Improvised Method of Macro Photography in Questioned Document Examination”, while Dean Parreño presented the “Readiness of Criminology Graduates in Taking the Licensure Examination”.(Lcfidelson)
