The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos will once again hold the most awaited dance competition in the province “HIPHOP HIGH season 9” on January 22, 2016, university gymnasium at 4 pm. The program will start with a trivia for the audience where prizes are at stake. Then, opening ceremonies shall follow with the Prayer by Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR; words of welcome by the Director of Student Affairs, Mr. Dexter Paul Dioso and introduction of the Board of Judges by Mrs. Joselina Basa, Over-all chairman of HIPHOP High season 9. This year’s participants are: Cabug NHS; E.B Magalona NHS; Handumanan NHS; Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School; Fr. Gratian Murray, AFSC Integrated School; Domingo Lacson NHS; Luisa Medel NHS; Generoso Villanueva NHS; Jack and Jill School Castleson High; and Dona Monserrat Lopez Memorial High School. Intermission number will be rendered by Dr. Nena Samillano and Engr. Noel Angeles; Dona Hortencia Salas Benedicto NHS, Season 8 champion; UNO-R Grade School, 2015 NOPSSCEA Hiphop champion; UNO-R Hip Hop Dance group, 2015 NOPSSCEA tertiary champion; and UNO-R HM students led by Chaeremon Basa. Closing remarks will be given by Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR. Emcee and program host is Mr. Remus Magbanua, MAEd.
