The Department of Education has granted the university license to operate Senior high School program effective school year 2016 -2017. The government permit number is SHS-117 S. 2016 . The permit allows the university to offer the following Senior High School Programs: Academic strand: Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM); and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS); Tech –Voc strand which includes the tracks in Home Economics (Bread and Pastry Production, Food and Beverage Services; Housekeeping; and Tour Guiding Services) Agri Fishery Arts (Animal Production; Artificial Insemination; Crop Production and Organic Agriculture); and Sports track.
Last January 9, 2016, there were 210 Junior High School students from different schools in the province who took up the admission test to the UNO-R Senior High School. Entrance test will be given on January 16, 23, and 30 at 9:00 am.
