Raxel Ann Gonzales, BSED English 3, and Elisha L. Eusebio, Grade VI –St. Ezekiel Moreno, recently emerged victors in the recently concluded provincial and regional rounds of the ABS-CBN News Casting Competition-Tertiary Level. Last November 14, 2015, Gonzales bagged, among 20 Provincial finalists, the 1st-runner up trophy and the special citation for Best in English at the Provincial Finals that was held in Robinsons Place Bacolod. Shortly after, Gonzales joined the ABS-CBN Negros Delegation as they competed against the rest of the region in the Regional Finals that was held in SM Iloilo last November 29, 2015. Gonzales placed as the 2ndrunner-up in the Tertiary Level Category and is the only delegate from Team Negros to have placed in the top 3. The ABS-CBN News Casting Competition is an event by the ABS-CBN Regional Broadcasting Network that aims to discover and harness budding talents in students that show potential in the field of media.
