UNO-R CELEBRATES AUGUSTINIAN RECOLLECT DAYS

“Religious Education is the core of the curriculum”- a principle that aids the university in upholding its identity being the Cradle of Excellence. The Religious Education Department, the Office of the Vice-President for Student Welfare and the Office of External Affairs invites the entire UNO-R Community to be part of the Augustinian Recollect Days 2015 on December 1-5, 2015 with the theme: “Caritas et Scientia”. This is an activity that enables us to learn the significance of being a recoletos. Schedule of activities are as follows: December 1 – University-Wide Belen Making Contest, Augustinian Recollect Talk Series at the University Presidents’ Hall with Rev. Fr. Albert Pellazar, OAR on Recollect Vocation at exactly 9 AM and with Rev. Fr. Enrico Peter Silab, OAR at exactly 2 Pm on “Carita et Scientia”, and Community Advent Celebration at 4:30 PM at the University Park; December 2 – “On-the-Spot Parol Making Contest” at the University Auditorium at 9:30 AM and Talk of Rev. Fr. Louie F. Gabinete, OAR on Recollect Mission at the Presidents’ Hall; December 3 – Judging of Parol Entries at the University Lobby at 5:30 PM; December 4 – University-Wide “Daigon Contest” at the University Park at 4 PM; and December 5 – 427th OAR Foundation Anniversary (1588-2015), ReEd Fun Run 2015 at 5:00 AM and Thanksgiving Mass at the University Park at 8:30 AM.
