Ms. Angie Muhal –Tijing, secretary at the Research Office was awarded with “Best Research Paper Award Winner” during the 23rd Annual International Conference of the Association on Employment Practices and Principles (AEPP), with the theme: “Creating Stability in the Global Employment Practices in an Age of Instability”, October 15-17 at Cebu City Sports Club, Cebu City. The conference was in collaboration with the University of San Jose – Recoletos, Cebu. After going through a rigorous review process by the scientific committee of the conference as well as by an award committee from Troy University and Austin Peay University, United States of America, the paper of Mrs. Tijing entitled “Employee Engagement in University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R): An Assessment was given the said citation.
AEPP is an international association that focuses on the quality of life in work organizations and promotes awareness of ethics, social responsibility, and justice. AEPP hosts annual international conferences that are personal, inclusive, supportive and democratic. The research tracks are Human Resource Management, Employee and Employer Rights and Responsibilities, Public Policy and Administration, Leadership and Organizational Management, Violence in the Workplace, Bullying, and Terrorism, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Information Technology, Marketing and Customer Relations Management, Education/Training, Eclectic Paradigms and Perspectives.
