The University honored Pax Catholic Academy –Diocese of Bacolod and the City Government of La Carlota for producing an outstanding alumna and citizen in the person of Ms. Maria Inez S. Benedicto, RMT for placing 7th in the September 2015 Medical Technology Licensure Examinations, 13 October 2015. Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR presented the plaque of Recognition to Rev. Fr. Hubert Javellana, PAX Catholic Academy Director. Ms. Benedicto was requested to present the plaque for the City Government for the Mayor was not available when the team was in La Carlota. Fr. Gabinete; Mrs. Ma. Judy Legaspi; Dr. Carlos Legaspi, Jr.; Dean Sheila Arnibal, RN; Ms. Cielo Ganza and Mr. Frits Palma composed the team. The ceremony was attended by the faculty, staff and students of Pax Catholic Academy. Also present during the ceremony was one of the passers, Juddson Keith Caballero, an alumnus of PAx.
Last September 30, the university also gave recognition to Mr. Richard and Marie Sol, parents of Ms. Benedicto. Likewise the Fr. President also gave a token and cash to the topnotcher. UNO-R Medical Technology Department was also recognized by the university administration.
