Fr. Alberto Avanzado, OAR , UNO-Recoletos Chaplain and Director of the Campus Ministry Office, will celebrate his 25th year in the Sacred Priesthood, 09 September 2015. He will offer a thanksgiving Mass at 10 am at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino on the same date.
Fr. Avanzado is from Bacong, Negros Oriental. He received his simple profession on May 24, 1986 at Recoletos Formation Chapel, Quezon City; his Solemn Profession on June 11, 1989 at Our Lady of Consolation Parish Church, Quezon City; and his Sacerdotal Ordination on September 9, 1990 at OLCP Church, Quezon City. His religious assignments include Mira-nila, Quezon City (1990- 92); Valencia, Negros Oriental(1992); Cebu City(1992-94); Talisay City (1994-97); Talisay, Cebu (1997-98); Antipolo (1998-2000); Tondo (2000-2002); Sao Paolo, Brazil (2002 – 2006); Tondo (2006- 2008); Manila (2009-2015) and now at UNO-R Bacolod.
