Another feather was added on the cap of the College of Criminal Justice Education in the recently held 2nd Regional Criminology Student Congress at Iloilo Grand Hotel. The convention, which lasted for two days, was participated by 11 criminology schools all over Region VI and it offered a lot of activities which the criminology students sure did enjoyed. At the conclusion of the event, the UNO-R CCJE garnered the following recognition:
Debate Competition – CHAMPION – won by Ms. Ma. Tiffany Cabigon), Research Paper Presentation – 1st place – won by Mr. Mark Ayala; Best Presenter – 2nd place – won by Mr. Mark Ayala; Quiz Bee – 4th place – won by Ms. Jessa Torendon; Karatedo (Open Division) – Silver – won by Mr. Kholince Gedalanga; Shooting Competition (45mm) – 3rd place – won by Renzo Martinez; Shooting Competition (9mm) – 2nd place – won by Renzo Martinez; Lastly, Dr. Jean B. Pauyon, a full – time faculty member was hailed as one of the Outstanding Faculty in Region VI as endorsed by Dr. Jasmin L. Parreño. (lcfidelson, CCJE faculty)
